Yes, You Should Learn Movie Magic

No, you’ll never use them, but yes, you should learn all of the Movie Magic programs.

Which brings me to my second point– your boss didn’t grow up with computers. Budgeting and scheduling are waaaaaay above your paygrade, but when your boss gets all frazzled trying to find the Any key, you can swoop in and be the hero.

This is also why you should know how both Macs and PCs work. Doesn’t matter if you have nightmares about the Blue Screen of Death, or if you think it’s ridiculous to buy every over-priced shiny hunk of metal just because there’s an Apple logo on it. You need to know how your boss‘s computer works.

I did this, and then never used Windows.
