In the past week, 29 of you clicked the link to my friend’s movie on OpenFilm.com. That’s right, I’m counting.
I get 700 readers a day. Less than 5% of you voted!
That’s not enough! The top vote-getter is well into the hundreds. And it’s a terrible movie. (I assume.) I know we can do better than that.
So, come on, loyal readers, help get me one step closer to my dream of riding my more talented friends’ coattails to success by giving Asleep with the Angels a five-star rating!
And while you’re at it, why not give the other movies one-star ratings, while you’re at it? Couldn’t hurt.

Dude, that sucks — sorry about that! I don’t agree with reader votes, either. Seems unfair for you.
You know, honestly, I don’t like this kind of vote-fishing.
I was earlier this year one of three finalists in Julie Gray’s short scene contest. Readers’ votes selected the winner.
I didn’t win. I’m not bitter or anything, because I knew I wouldn’t win. Couldn’t win, really. Because I don’t have enough friends. That’s okay, because I want to win because my contribution is the best. Not because my friends vote for me just because it is me.
It’s strange to call yourself a winner of a contest because you have the most loyal friends.
But that is the way it is. Someday, I may cope with it.
Done.
Since I’m not in film anymore, I will live vicariously through you! LOL
Good luck!!
