A quick follow-up on Monday’s post.
When I turned in my petty cash envelope to get some more money, the accountant told me not to turn in a bunch of change.
I asked why, and she said the other PA gave her, like, $5 worth of quarters. She had to count all of that out.
I said I’d do my best, but I will have change. I mean, that’s kinda inevitable.
“Then take it to the bank and cash it in,” she said.
Now, I don’t know what an accountant does all day, but seriously, you’re an accountant. It has the word “count” right in there. I’m not going to make a special trip to the bank to save you thirty seconds of eponymy.

You could always deposit it to your own bank account and write her a check? :p
my accountant told me specifically to blame him any time i get in trouble. he says people are suppose to hate accountants.
Next time bring her rolls of change.
